Together with our partners, we’ve delivered some of France’s flagship offshore wind projects.

Saint Nazaire

Saint Nazaire offshore wind farm entered full operations in November 2022, becoming France’s first commercial-scale offshore wind project.

The 480MW project is located off the Loire-Atlantique coast. It was developed by EDF Renewables and Maple Power and is owned by EDF Renewables and EIH S.à. r.l, a subsidiary of Maple Power’s shareholders.

Fécamp

Fécamp offshore wind farm was France’s second offshore wind farm to reach financial close. Currently in late construction, the 500MW project is located off Normandy’s north-west coast.

The project is being jointly developed by EDF Renewables, Maple Power and Skyborn Renewables and is owned by EDF Renewables, Skyborn Renewables and EIH S.à. r.l, a subsidiary of Maple Power’s shareholders.

Calvados (Courseulles-sur-Mer)

Calvados offshore wind farm is the second offshore wind farm under construction off Normandy’s north-west coast.  The 450MW project is expected to be fully commissioned in 2025.

The project is being jointly developed by EDF Renewables, Maple Power and Skyborn Renewables and is owned by EDF Renewables, Skyborn Renewables and EIH S.à. r.l, a subsidiary of Maple Power’s shareholders.

Provence Grand Large

Provence Grand Large is France’s first floating offshore wind project. Located off the south coast of France, installation of the project’s three floating wind turbines will complete in 2024.

The 25MW project is being developed by EDF Renewables and Maple Power. It is owned by EDF Renewables and Enbridge Eolien France 2 S.à. r.l, a subsidiary of Maple Power’s shareholders.

Centre Manche 1

Maple Power and EDF Renewables won the tender to build and operate the 1GW Centre Manche 1 offshore wind farm in 2023. The project, located off the Normandy coast, is scheduled to be fully commissioned by 2032. It is owned by EDF Renewables and Maple Power SAS.
